INPS-IDN visited Singapore to cover 22nd Convention of the Federation of Asian Women's Association (FAWA) September 28-October 1, 2016 in Singapore at the invitation of the Secretary General of Ozaki Yukio Memorial Foundation, Takaaki Ishida, who is also President of 'Issatsu no kai', a Japanese NGO.

INPS-IDN joined a group of participants from around the world in a one-day visit to Semey, Kurchatov and the former Soviet nuclear test site on August 31, 2016.

INPS-IDN reported on an international conference on 'Building a nuclear-weapon-free world' in Kazakh capital Astana on August 29 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of closing the Soviet nuclear test site. The conference was as co-hosted by the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Parliamentarians for Nuclear Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (PNND). The conference endorsed a 10-point Declaration titled: 'The Astana Vision: From a Radioactive Haze to a Nuclear-Weapon Free World'.

Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Federal Party leaders and other eminent persons sent messages of appreciation on the 15th anniversary of South Asian Outlook, an e-Magazine partnering with INPS-IDN. He received the Canadian Ethnic Media Association (CEMA) award at the 30th Anniversary Award Gala on June 27, 2008 (Canadian Multiculturalism Day).

INPS-IDN visit Seoul, South Korean capital to talk to an senior foreign ministry official on possibilities of Korean unification, and viewing from the South Korean side of the Demilitarized Zone on June 3, 2016 the bridge where POWs were exchanged.

Visit to Mikimoto Pearl Island located off the coast of Toba City in Mie Prefecture, some 150 kilometres west of Nagoya. Manager Noburu Shibahara briefed us on the life and works of its founder Kokichi Mikimoto and activities of the company.
