‘Building a Nuclear-Weapon-Free world’

INPS-IDN reported on an international conference on ‘Building a nuclear-weapon-free world’ in Kazakh capital Astana on August 29 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of closing the Soviet nuclear test site. The conference was as co-hosted by the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Parliamentarians for Nuclear Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (PNND). The conference endorsed a 10-point Declaration titled: ‘The Astana Vision: From a Radioactive Haze to a Nuclear-Weapon Free World’.
